Job summary

GulfDesign UAE in Faisalabad, Pakistan, seeks an experienced Formworker to interpret blueprints, measure materials, and cut and join using hand or power tools. You will assemble formwork, install rebar, and help pour and level concrete, ensuring quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in formwork construction or similar in the construction industry.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools and measuring devices.
• Strong mathematical skills for calculating measurements and angles.
• Good teamwork and ability to follow instructions closely.
• Physically fit for work at heights and in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine formwork requirements.
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications.
• Cut shape and join materials using hand or power tools.
• Assemble and erect formwork using various systems eg traditional wood or metal frames prefabricated panels.
• Install reinforcing bars rebar in the formwork as needed.
• Pour spread and level concrete using various tools eg trowels screeds.
• Strip and dismantle formwork after the concrete has set.
• Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications and quality standards.
