Job summary

ClearPath Orthodontics Pvt Ltd in Lahore seeks an experienced Fire Safety & HSE Officer to ensure fire prevention, emergency readiness, and compliance with local regulations. You will manage firefighting equipment, train staff, and coordinate safety inspections.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of practical fire safety experience.

• Strong knowledge of Pakistani fire-safety regulations and inspection requirements.
• Ability to lead drills and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with Pakistani and Punjab fire-safety laws and regulations while coordinating regulatory inspections and advising management on corrective actions.
• Inspect and maintain firefighting and fire-safety equipment, ensuring it is operational and recommending necessary upgrades.
• Establish and train an internal Firefighting and Emergency Response Team, assigning fire wardens and ensuring coverage across all shifts.
• Conduct fire-safety awareness sessions, practical extinguisher training, and coordinate evacuation drills with recognized providers.
• Prepare and update emergency-response procedures, evacuation maps, and assembly-point arrangements.
• Identify and assess fire risks associated with various materials and recommend corrective measures.
• Ensure that emergency exits and firefighting equipment are accessible, clearly marked, and unobstructed.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, document findings, and follow up on preventive actions.

• Hands-on knowledge of firefighting equipment operation, inspection, and maintenance.
• Ability to lead emergency drills and maintain accurate operational records.
• Clear communication skills and sound judgment during emergencies.
• Experience in occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) is a plus.

Nice to have

• IOSH, NEBOSH, first-aid/CPR, or relevant safety certifications.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or large commercial facilities.
• Familiarity with relevant NFPA standards.
• Experience in emergency response coordination.
• Proven ability to develop training materials for staff.
