OLX Pakistan seeks a seasoned finance professional to manage monthly closings, prepare management reports, and coordinate with auditors. You will oversee the closing processes for month, quarter, and year, ensure internal controls are strong, and provide ad hoc analyses for senior management.

The role requires CA/ACCA with 5 years PQE, ERP experience, and advanced MS Excel skills. Experience with Netsuite and IFRS16 is advantageous in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• CA/ACCA qualified with PQE of 5 years.
• Experience with ERP implementation and integration of systems.

• Experience with dealing with banks.
• Proficient MS Excel (advanced).
• Ideally worked in a multi-dimensional environment coordinating with other departments and group entities.
• Knowledge of tax and corporate laws.
• IFRS 16 experience and hands-on implementation.

Aufgaben

• Ensure monthly closing is completed within the directed time frame.
• Prepare monthly management reports including variance analysis against budget and prior period.

• Ensure audits conclude timely with minimal adjustments.
• Review internal controls and address weaknesses promptly.
• Prepare ad hoc reports for senior management for decision making.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the monthly closing is done within the stipulated time period as directed by the Group team
• Preparation of the monthly management report including reasons for variances against the budget as well as the prior period reported
• Handling the accounting closing process for the month, quarter and the year
• Acting as the focal person for the auditors’ requirements/requests
• Ensuring the audits are concluded in a timely manner with minimal audit adjustments
• Review and monitor the internal control environment of the company and ensure any and all weaknesses are addressed in a timely manner
• Preparing ad hoc reports for the senior management for decision making purposes
• Recommending management for cost optimization opportunities

Requirements:

• Must be proficient with MS Excel (advance user)
• Ideally would have worked in a multi-dimensional environment involving coordination and

• Experience with working on Oracle Netsuite is an added advantage
• Knowledge of IFRS 16 and hand on experience of implementing the standard
