Job summary

Siddiqi & Co, a leading multinational pharmaceutical and healthcare business in Pakistan, seeks a Director Finance to head the finance function, drive group reporting, budgeting and strategic partnering.

The role reports to the VP and regional/global finance team, requires 12+ years post-qualification, ACA/FCA ICAP, and proven leadership of finance teams in pharma. Based in Karachi, candidates may relocate and will influence decisions while ensuring compliant governance.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant with ICAP registration and Big 4 articleship.
• Minimum 12 years post-qualification experience.
• At least 3 years leading finance in a multinational pharma company.
• Experience with group reporting, budgeting, forecasting and tax compliance.
• Proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive change.

Responsibilities

• Head the finance function as part of the leadership team and oversee reporting and internal controls.
• Set financial strategy and long-term plan with the General Manager and group targets.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting and hold leaders accountable for financial commitments.
• Provide financial analysis for pricing, investments and cost decisions.
• Ensure governance and compliance with group policies, local standards, tax and customs; liaise with external auditors and tax authorities.
• Manage currency, inflation, working capital and cash risk to protect profitability.
• Oversee procurement and supply chain costs within finance, build a high-performing team.

Education

Chartered Accountant (ACA or FCA) ICAP

Articleship with Big 4

12+ years post-qualification experience

3+ years heading finance in a multinational pharmaceutical company

Experience reporting to multinational group and managing local tax compliance

Budgeting, forecasting and business partnering with commercial leaders

Ability to influence senior leaders and lead change

Experience overseeing procurement or supply chain (advantage)
