Job summary

Truck It In is seeking a detail-oriented Finance & Tax Associate to support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and statutory compliance in a dynamic logistics business.

You will maintain books, perform reconciliations, assist in monthly closings, file tax returns, manage withholding taxes, and coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timely reporting, while collaborating with leadership to improve processes and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Up to 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, and taxation.
• Part-qualified CA / ACCA or MBA in Finance & Accounting.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Sound knowledge of local tax laws and statutory compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines effectively and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and keep accurate books of accounts per applicable standards.
• Record daily transactions: sales, expenses, payroll, adjustments, and GL.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Reconcile vendor, customer, and intercompany accounts.
• Prepare and file quarterly and annual tax returns with accurate calculations.
• Handle withholding taxes, notices, audits, and tax authority correspondence.
• Assist in closings with reports and analysis.
• Maintain financial documents for audits and coordinate with departments and stakeholders.

About the role:

Truck It In (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance & Tax Associate to support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping skills, hands-on experience with reconciliations, and a solid understanding of tax and regulatory requirements.

What You Will Do:

• Maintain, and complete accurate books of accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Record daily financial transactions including sales, expenses, payroll, and adjustments while maintaining the general ledger and supporting schedules.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations, analyze variances, and assist in cash flow monitoring and fund management.
• Reconcile vendor, customer, and intercompany accounts to ensure accuracy and financial integrity.
• Prepare and file quarterly and annual tax returns (income tax, sales tax, withholding tax) with accurate calculations and timely submission.
• Ensure proper deduction, deposit, and reporting of withholding taxes and assist in handling tax notices, audits, and correspondence with tax authorities.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, including preparation of management reports, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Maintain proper financial documentation for audit and compliance purposes while coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders.
