Alpha Cast in Lahore is seeking an experienced Finance & Accounts Manager to lead the finance and accounting department within the heavy manufacturing sector (steel melting, induction furnace operations, rolling mills). The role centers on accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning to support production and business objectives.

A CA/ACCA/ACMA or equivalent qualification with 5–15 years of industrial experience is required, with a small team under supervision.

Qualifications

• CA/ACCA/ACMA or equivalent qualification.
• 5–15 years of industrial experience in heavy manufacturing or similar sector.
• ERP proficiency and strong accounting software knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the finance and accounting department with a team of three.
• Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Develop budgets and forecasts tailored to steel production processes.
• Monitor cost per ton and profitability; drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Manage banking relationships and working capital facilities.
• Oversee taxation, audits, and regulatory compliance (FBR, SECP, VAT).
• Implement ERP-based controls to improve financial reporting reliability.
• Coordinate with plant management to optimize production costs and profitability.
• Support bank financing and credit facilities through detailed projections.
