Job summary

PARCO - Pak-Arab Refinery Limited is seeking applications for the position of Field Operator (Oil Movement). The role requires overseeing Tank Farm, Pipeline, and Blending operations, ensuring safety, and coordinating in emergencies.

You will work with DCS controllers, perform tank dips, switchovers, and manage blending and dispatch to OMCs. Applicants should hold a DAE/BE in Chemical discipline and have hands-on experience with tank farm systems, pumps, and PTW procedures.

Qualifications

DAE or B.Tech in Chemical Discipline from a recognized institution.
Good knowledge of SAP, TGS (Tank Gauging System) and MS Office.
Sound technical understanding of pumps, turbines, compressors, fire & safety systems, and Permit to Work (PTW) procedures.
Strong communication, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Ensure safe and smooth operation of Tank Farm, Pipeline, and Blending facilities in accordance with approved SOPs.
Coordinate during plant emergencies and promptly report any abnormal conditions to the Shift Engineer.
Liaise with DCS Controllers and perform field activities including tank dipping, rundown and charging switchovers, blending (Mogas & Jet Fuels), pipeline receipt, and product dispatch to OMCs.
Maintain assigned equipment and systems in optimal operating condition within specified parameters.
Strictly comply with the Permit to Work (PTW) system and all safety requirements.
Ensure safe handover of equipment for maintenance and assist in proper re-commissioning.
Execute daily operational tasks, including safe start-up and shutdown of plant units as per SOPs.
Actively participate in emergency handling and safety initiatives.
