The Senior Associate role focuses on delivering technical accounting insights, supporting financial statement prep and consolidation, and guiding junior team members.

Ideal candidates hold ACA/ACCA/CPA/CFA/BBA or MBA credentials, with 3–4 years of relevant experience in IFRS and financial reporting within audit or FAAS services.

The Financial Accounting & Advisory Services (FAAS) team is a specialized advisory function supporting KPMG engagement teams across Saudi Arabia and the GCC. The team provides technical accounting and financial reporting advisory services to clients across various industries.

Core service offerings include:

• IFRS advisory and technical accounting
• Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICoFR)
• Group reporting and consolidation
• Finance function transformation
• Process improvement and optimization
• Technical accounting research and position papers

The off shore team operates as a delivery center supporting engagement teams across the Middle East while maintaining KPMG quality and professional standards

Senior Associate:

Experience: 3-4 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Support IFRS and financial reporting advisory engagements.
• Assist in Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICoFR) assessments.
• Support financial statement preparation, consolidation, and group reporting assignments.
• Perform technical accounting research and prepare client deliverables.
• Support finance transformation and process improvement projects.
• Work with engagement teams across Saudi Arabia and the GCC.

Qualifications:

• ACA, ACCA, CPA, CFA, BBA or MBA qualified (or finalist).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.
• Experience within Audit, Accounting Advisory, or FAAS-related services.

Experience: 4-6 years
