Job description

Job Title: Export Sales Manager

We are seeking a talented Export Sales Manager to join our existing sales team. The primary focus will be on developing new business and generating lucrative accounts through email, phone, and occasional trade show visits.

This role is mainly oriented towards new business development with limited exposure to managing existing accounts. We are looking for a confident and driven individual who can increase revenue immediately. You will be responsible for following each lead through to closure.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of export compliance policies and procedures.
  2. Develop and execute risk assessments for export compliance.
  3. Oversee all export activities, including paperwork and monetary transactions, ensuring timely completion and legal compliance.
  4. Ensure export activities comply with foreign government laws and regulations.
  5. Administer sales activities for export products, achieve sales targets, analyze objectives, negotiate prices, and monitor competitor activities.
  6. Set objectives and goals for market sales and revenue, and coordinate new product launches.
  7. Design marketing and sales programs for assigned territories, participate in exhibitions and seminars, and test new products.
  8. Analyze market intelligence reports to identify new business opportunities and maintain an efficient portfolio.
  9. Collaborate with marketing and technical departments to analyze market activities, ensure product quality, and develop export market regulations to mitigate risks.
  10. Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, supervise sales targets, and develop sales strategies based on customer requirements.
Job Specification:
  1. Primary responsibilities include production planning, expediting, product management, transportation, shipping, receiving, and traffic management.
  2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in rice export with a proven track record.
  3. Handling all export-related matters, including dealing with forwarders and cargo agents.
  4. Knowledge of export procedures, bank guarantees, and manufacturing bonds.
  5. Proficiency in email communication, MS Excel, and Word.
  6. Strong command of written and spoken English.
