Job summary

Fatima Group is seeking a Geologist for Fatima Petroleum Company Limited (FPCL) in Islamabad to QC cores, logs and other data, and to manage life-cycle progression in geoscience platforms. The role includes data integration with seismic and non-seismic data, and building play fairway and reservoir maps for prospect evaluation.

You will document uncertainties, quantify risks, and maintain a Play & Prospects Inventory while leveraging cloud-based platforms and advanced visualization tools to

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Geology or Earth Sciences, with relevant geoscience coursework.
• 3–6 years of Geologist experience including logs, cores, cutting and data QC.
• Experience in basin modelling, play fairway/CRS maps and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• QC cores, logs, outcrops and other data; manage data life-cycle in FPCL systems.
• Integrate seismic and non-seismic data; identify uncertainties and quantify risk.
• Develop play fairway, prospects and reservoir maps; build Play & Prospects Inventory (PPI).
• Document uncertainties and probabilistic resource evaluations; maintain risk registers.
