Job summary

MechaForce in Karachi is seeking skilled masons to join our team for urgent openings. You will construct, repair and maintain buildings using brick, concrete blocks and stone, reading blueprints and following plans.

The ideal candidate has proven masonry experience, strong hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work safely with masonry materials. We offer a competitive salary, accommodation, and visa sponsorship for non-residents.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mason in construction or related field.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow building plans accurately.
• Strong knowledge of masonry techniques, materials, tools and equipment.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting and carrying heavy materials for extended periods of time.
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting blueprints and building plans to determine layout and specifications
• Measuring and cutting materials to the required size
• Mixing mortar or grout and spreading it evenly between bricks or stones
• Laying bricks or stones in a specific pattern or design
• Using tools such as trowels, levels and chisels to shape and smooth mortar or bricksstones
• Applying finishes such as stucco or plaster to walls
• Repairing damaged masonry work
• Ensuring all work meets safety standards and building codes
