Job summary

S&P Global is seeking an ESG Data Analytics professional in Makati City to produce high-quality analyses, reports, and models that inform sustainable financial decisions. This role requires 2+ years of data analysis experience in ESG or related data domains and proficiency with SQL, Python/R, or advanced Excel.

You will contribute to ESG data products, work from the office at least two days a week, and collaborate across teams to improve data quality and reporting while upholding S&P Global’s

Qualifications

• An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 2+ years of experience in data analysis, particularly within ESG, financial data, or a related field.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python/R, or advanced Excel, for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to assess urgency in tasks, prioritize effectively, and actively participate in team discussions to achieve common goals.
• Resourceful and solution-oriented, with the capacity to generate new ideas and adapt behavior based on different situations and team needs.
• We require all external candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality ESG data analyses, reports, and models in a timely manner, adhering to established guidelines and quality targets.
• Take initiative in identifying and addressing data-related problems or suggesting process improvements within the ESG domain.
• Apply detailed analytical skills to interpret complex ESG datasets, ensuring accuracy and identifying potential issues.
• Support team objectives by contributing to the development of new ESG data products or enhancements, leveraging an understanding of broader team goals.
• Operate with a strong understanding of S&P Global’s purpose and values, connecting them to daily work and supporting sustainable market practices.
• All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
