Job summary

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent from a recognized medical institution.
• Valid medical license and registration with the relevant medical council or regulatory authority.

Responsibilities

• Assess emergency patients and document history in SOAP format.
• Coordinate with SMOs/consultants for patient management.
• Maintain accurate records in the FOTIS system and ensure proper medication orders and investigations.
• Oversee shifting and discharge procedures; remain present in the ER during duty hours.
• Follow hospital timings, uniform, infection-control and aseptic practices.
• Monitor patient care and supervising paramedical staff; obtain informed consent.
• Counsel patients and attendants regarding treatment and charges.
• Comply with hospital policies; actively participate in CME meetings.
