Job summary

Abacus is seeking a qualified Scrum Master to drive agile project delivery for enterprise clients in Lahore. You will facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, coach teams, and work with Product Owners to prioritize backlogs, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality increments.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential. Candidates should have 3+ years of Scrum Master experience, a relevant degree, and certifications (CSM/PSM preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field from an HEC recognized university.
• Around 3+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
• Scrum certification (CSM, PSM or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience working in telecom or enterprise-level environments will be a plus.
• Proficiency in Agile project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
• A detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
• Ensuring adherence to Agile principles and Scrum framework within the team
• Removing impediments and resolving blockers that may impact sprint goals
• Coaching team members on Agile best practices and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment
• Working closely with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the product backlog
• Tracking sprint progress and maintaining transparency using Agile tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
• Ensuring timely delivery of high-quality product increments
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
• Promoting continuous improvement initiatives within the team
• Maintaining clear communication with stakeholders regarding sprint progress and team performance
