Job summary

National Bank of Pakistan in Karachi is seeking a Project Manager – Enterprise (AVP) to lead IT projects within the Bank, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and in line with regulatory and internal standards. You will plan, coordinate with stakeholders, prepare documentation, manage risks, and report progress to leadership.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in IT project management, including banking applications, with strong communication and governance skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Engineering or equivalent with a Masters preferred.
• Minimum 6 years IT project management experience, at least 3 years in banking applications.
• Strong communication, analytical and governance capabilities.
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies; MS Office suite proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and close IT projects within the Bank and PM framework.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, risks and deliverables.
• Create project documentation including WBS, org charts, communication and risk plans.
• Ensure scope, schedule and budget adherence with quality standards.
• Monitor progress, report status to stakeholders, manage risks and issues.
• Foster cross-functional coordination and proactive risk management.
• Maintain project schedule and dependencies for successful delivery.
• Communicate progress, financials and risks to supervisors and stakeholders.
