Job summary

Abacus is seeking a Scrum Master to drive agile delivery in collaboration with enterprise clients. You will facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments, and coach teams on Scrum practices while working with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality product increments.

You will partner with Product Owners to manage backlogs, track progress, and promote continuous improvement in a fast-paced telecom/enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering from an HEC-recognized university.
• Around 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
• Scrum certification (CSM, PSM or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong problem-solving.
• Team player who collaborates well with others.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Ensure adherence to Agile principles and Scrum framework within the team.
• Remove impediments and resolve blockers affecting sprint goals.
• Coach team members on Agile best practices and foster a high-performance environment.
• Work with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the product backlog.
• Track sprint progress and maintain transparency using Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality product increments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding sprint progress and team performance.
