FunFox Program is Australia's leading education company specialising in curating foundational learning experiences for young students. We offer small-group classes led by teachers rigorously trained in the FunFox Way to help students excel at primary school and beyond. Our mission is to foster a vibrant community of parents and students, bringing them together through regular in-person and virtual events.
We are currently seeking a passionate and innovative Curriculum Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and refining curriculum content that aligns with our educational goals and pedagogical philosophy. As a Curriculum Developer at FunFox, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the learning experiences of young students across Australia, ensuring our programs remain engaging, effective, and aligned with best practices in education.
To give you a clear preview of the role, curriculum development at FunFox is output-driven rather than strictly hour-based. We understand that creative and educational workflows vary, where some days are highly productive in terms of tangible deliverables, and others may be spent researching, refining learning objectives, and designing age-appropriate ways for students to practice concepts meaningfully. We are highly mindful of this variability.
Outside of your assigned classes, your time is entirely self-managed. Aside from a few structured touchpoints, you have the autonomy to design your workday to meet weekly goals.
While the rest of your day is mostly self-directed, you will align with the team during these set times:
You will be expected to meet weekly deadlines and contribute to a mix of immediate and ongoing projects. Your primary responsibilities include:
Please note that this is not a single, fixed-term project. We manage multiple active curriculum streams where your specific skill set will add ongoing value. There is consistent, long-term work available, though you should expect naturally busier and slower periods across the standard academic cycle.
