Job summary

Nextbridge Global in Lahore, Pakistan seeks an Embedded Systems Engineer with 2–3 years of firmware development and hardware–software integration experience. You will design, test, and debug embedded solutions for robotics, automation, and autonomous systems.

The role requires hands-on work with STM32, ESP32, Nordic nRF, and related platforms, implementing communication protocols and motor-control algorithms.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of professional experience in embedded firmware development.
• Strong understanding of C/C++, microcontroller architectures, and digital electronics.
• Experience with MCU peripherals (GPIO, ADC, PWM, timers, interrupts).
• Experience with embedded communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, RS485).
• Familiarity with motor control, encoders, and feedback systems.
• Experience with FreeRTOS, Zephyr RTOS or similar RTOS.
• Proficient debugging with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, debug, and optimize embedded firmware using C/C++ and Python.
• Work with microcontrollers and microprocessors (STM32, ESP32, Nordic nRF, Raspberry Pi, Orange Pi).
• Interface and integrate sensors, encoders, motors, and motor drivers.
• Implement UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, RS485, and Modbus protocols.
• Develop motor control algorithms and closed-loop control systems.
• Perform hardware-software integration, debugging, and validation.
• Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, and software teams.
• Prepare technical docs, test procedures, and development reports.
