Job summary

Required Qualifications and Experience

Education

• High school degree/certificate with minimum 2 years of relevant working experience or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid national driver’s license..

Experience

• Knowledge of driving rules and regulations.
• Experience in driving a variety of makes and models of vehicles
• Skills in minor vehicle repairs.
• Knowledge of radio, email, telephone and other application.

Languages

All IOM staff members in all categories are required to be fluent in one of the IOM's official languages (English, French, Spanish).

For this position, External applicants for all positions in the Professional category are required to be proficient in English and have at least a working knowledge of one additional UN Language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish). Fluency in urdu and English is required (oral and written).

Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
