Qualifications

• Diploma, HNC/HND or equivalent in Engineering, Architecture, or Design.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D general arrangement drawings, fixing details, and revisions under supervision.
• Translate project scopes, drawings, and specs into technically sound designs.
• Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and international design teams to deliver outputs.
• Create safety and access system designs compliant with standards.
• Develop cost estimates, pricing break downs, and project calculations.
• Prepare project costings up to PKR equivalent of £25,000 value.
• Maintain accurate project and customer data in company systems.
• Review and verify designs and safety plans for accuracy.
• Support handover from quotation to project execution.
• Ensure design documentation archived in central systems.
• Escalate deviations or safety concerns promptly to team lead.

This role blends technical drawing with estimation responsibilities and is ideal for candidates with CAD training, strong mathematical skills, and a desire to grow in construction design and estimating.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D general arrangement drawings, fixing details, and revisions under supervision.
• Translate project scopes, drawings, and specifications into technically sound designs.
• Work closely with clients, suppliers, and international design teams to deliver accurate outputs.
• Create safety and access system designs that comply with standards and safety regulations.
• Develop cost estimates, pricing breakdowns, and project calculations for review.
• Independently prepare project costings up to PKR equivalent of £25,000 in value.
• Maintain accurate project and customer data in company systems.
• Review and verify designs and safety plans for accuracy and completeness.
• Support smooth handover from quotation to project execution.
• Ensure all design documentation is properly archived and managed in central systems.
• Escalate deviations or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate team lead.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Diploma, HNC/HND, or equivalent in Engineering, Architecture, or Design.
• Software: Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Skills: Strong mathematical, spatial, and analytical abilities.
• Language: Exceptional English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Experience: Prior exposure to technical drawing or estimation is an advantage.
