Job summary

Relief International in Pakistan seeks a District MEAL Assistant to support Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) and MIS in the assigned district. You will conduct field monitoring, manage data collections, and prepare timely reports under supervision.

You will work with district teams and ensure data quality, compliant with donor standards, while promoting feedback mechanisms and safeguarding practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, CS, IT, MIS, or related field.
• At least 2 years in MEAL, MIS, data management, or project monitoring.
• Experience with MEAL principles and data collection, validation, reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and digital data collection tools (Kobo/ODK).
• Strong English and Urdu communication; able to travel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project activities in the district against approved outputs, outcomes and indicators.
• Conduct routine field monitoring visits and verify quality and timeliness of activities.
• Submit field monitoring reports and verified data on deadlines.
• Provide technical support to improve data quality and reporting.
• Record implementation gaps and escalate them with corrective actions.
• Maintain district MIS databases and ensure data integrity.
• Prepare district MIS summaries for review by supervisors.
• Support capacity building of district staff on MEAL tools and reporting.
• Support feedback mechanisms and accountability to affected populations.
• Promote safeguarding and compliance with donor requirements.
