Nisum Technologies Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and technically strong DevOps Engineer to implement and manage DevOps best practices automate deployments, support cloud migration activities, and ensure the reliability and scalability of infrastructure, particularly within Azure Kubernetes environments. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Implement and manage DevOps practices to improve development, deployment, and operational efficiency

Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for fast and reliable software delivery

Automate operational processes in compliance with best practices

Monitor, manage, and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters

Support migration from PCF to AKS ensuring minimal disruption

Collaborate with cloud architects, developers, QA, and infrastructure teams for seamless integration

Provide technical guidance and post-deployment support

Set up system monitoring, alerting, and reporting frameworks

Analyze performance bottlenecks and recommend solutions for improved reliability and uptime

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps practices, automation, and cloud infrastructure

Strong knowledge of cloud platforms including Azure; familiarity with GCP and AWS preferred

Expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform)

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

Experience migrating applications from PCF to AKS

Knowledge of system monitoring and alerting practices

Familiarity with SQL, Cosmos DB, and Kafka is preferred

Scripting experience in Bash, Python, or similar languages

Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills

Willingness to work from office and overlap with PST time zone ifrequired

Professional growth in cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices

Exposure to Azure Kubernetes and multi-cloud environments

Work in a collaborative, fast-paced IT environment
