Job summary

Appedology Inc. is seeking a DevOps Engineer with 1-2 years of professional experience to design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure. You will manage Dev/UAT/Production environments, implement CI/CD pipelines, and ensure high availability and security across systems.

Responsibilities include monitoring, backups, disaster recovery, and collaboration with developers for deployments and debugging, with a focus on scalable, secure operations.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of professional working experience as DevOps Engineer.
• 2) Strong knowledge of Linux server administration and hands-on configuration management.
• 3) Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• 4) Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• 5) Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
• 6) Understanding of web application architectures (APIs, databases, queues).
• 7) Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure for the system.
• Manage environments (Dev / UAT / Production).
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and database deployments.
• Support zero-downtime or low-downtime releases.
• Manage versioning, rollback strategies, and release tagging.
• Monitor application performance, uptime, and resource usage.
• Set up alerts for system health, errors, and capacity thresholds.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Implement security best practices (SSL, secrets management, access controls).
• Manage role-based access for servers, services, and tools.
• Ensure secure handling of employee and HR-related data.
• Configure automated backups (databases, files, configs).
• Define and test disaster recovery and restore procedures.
• Work closely with developers to support deployments and debugging.
• Assist QA during testing cycles.
• Provide production support and incident resolution.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and SOPs.
