Job summary

Hybrid MediaWorks in Islamabad is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to streamline CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and manage cloud environments for scalable, secure production systems.

You will collaborate with development, IT operations, and security teams to implement IaC, automate the SDLC, and promote an automation-first culture with SRE practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineer role.
• Hands-on experience with automating deployments and managing cloud-native applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced Agile environments.
• Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions) (Preferred).
• Knowledge of service mesh technologies (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
• Automate software builds, testing, and deployment processes for faster releases.
• Ensure zero-downtime deployments using blue-green, canary, or rolling updates.
• Deploy, configure, and manage cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized apps.
• Use IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for provisioning.
• Optimize cloud costs and resources for performance and scalability.
• Implement DevSecOps practices including security scanning and compliance automation.
• Work with developers to integrate DevOps best practices into the SDLC.
• Advocate for SRE principles and automation-first approaches.
• Document infrastructure, workflows, and procedures.
