Faculty of Design, PIFD Lahore invites applications for the Teaching Associate position (equivalent to BPS-17) to support undergraduate and postgraduate design programs. The role focuses on delivering hands-on studio demonstrations in draping, flat pattern drafting, textile weaving, and digital 3D modeling, while mentoring student graduation collections and guiding design research.
Selected candidates will participate in studio juries, critiques, and coordinate with Pakistan's export apparel
Qualificações
- Degree from an HEC-recognized institution (B.Des).
- Ability to deliver hands-on studio demonstrations in draping, pattern drafting, weaving, and related textile skills.
- Mentor students and contribute to graduation collections and design portfolios.
Responsabilidades
- Deliver hands-on studio demonstrations in draping, flat pattern drafting, textile weaving, and digital 3D modeling.
- Mentor student graduation collections and guide design research.
- Lead and participate in rigorous studio juries and critiques.
- Liaise with Pakistan's export apparel industry to align learning outcomes with industry needs.
