DAR Engineering in Lahore, Pakistan, is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join the team on-site. The role focuses on design from base to detailed levels for LV/MV/HV/EHV substations, adherence to standards, and collaboration with other disciplines.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering with 5–8 years in T&D design, analysis, and implementation, and be proficient with CDEGS, Dialux, MicroStation, AutoCAD, and related software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering; certifications preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in electrical design, analysis, and implementation for Transmission and Distribution (T&D) projects.

DAR Engineering is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical Design, Engineer to join our team!

Job Responsibilities:

• Create efficient, innovative designs using advanced software.
• Conduct feasibility assessments and integrate safety and environmental standards.
• Support senior team members and stay current with industry best practices.
• Adhere to and enforce established design guidelines, standards, and procedures
• Estimate construction costs and material requirements based on detailed designs.
• Provide technical support and guidance to senior design team members as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s/Master degree in Electrical Engineering; certifications preferred.
• 5-8 years of experience in electrical design, analysis, and implementation for Transmission and Distribution (T&D) projects.

Key Skills:

• Proficient in designing electrical systems for LV/MV/HV/EHV substations, covering all stages from base design to detailed design and IFC (Issued for Construction).
• Strong understanding of T&D functions in the context of construction contracts, with the ability to coordinate effectively with other engineering disciplines.
• Skilled in the preparation of equipment layouts, including GIS, switchgear, transformers, capacitor banks, trays, duct banks, tunnel layouts, lighting, shielding, earthing, and AC/DC auxiliary systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant international standards, such as IEC, IEEE, BS, SASO, and SEC standards.
• Strong working knowledge of industry-standard design and analysis software, including CDEGS, Dialux, Building Designer, MicroStation, and AutoCAD, with the ability to apply these tools effectively in complex design scenarios.
• Adaptability and Continuous Learning. team player with strong presentation skills and the ability to build effective relationships across teams. Capable of conveying technical information clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Languages Requirement:

• Fluency in english is required
