Job summary

The Ministry of National Food Security and Research is seeking a Deputy Project Coordinator (DPC) for the federal government project NPECA. You will work under the ministry’s supervision to support administrative and financial aspects of the FPMU and implement FSC decisions.

With 12+ years in public/private sector project management, you will coordinate with provincial PMUs, ensure timely grant transfers, and prepare periodic monitoring reports to keep the project on track.

Qualifications

• 12 Years of experience in public/private sector with water and agriculture projects.
• Ability to prepare project proposals (PC I, PC-II) for public sector initiatives.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for stakeholders on project progress.
• Leadership qualities to manage multi-disciplinary teams and complex public sector programs.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Deputy Project Coordinator (DPC) for the federal government Project "NPECA".
• Work under supervision of M/o National Food Security & Research and assist in administrative and financial matters related to FPMU.
• Assist Ministry in timely transfer of matching federal grants to participating agencies.
• Collaborate with provincial PMUs for effective project implementation.
• Compile periodic project monitoring reports and working papers for FSC and FCC.

• 12 years' experience of working in the Public/Private sector dealing with water and agriculture sector including 5 years' experience of management of large-scale public-sector development Projects relating to water and agriculture.
• Knowledge of rules & regulations of preparation, financing, procurement and implementation of public sector development project.
• Preparation of public sectors project proposal (PC I, PC-II) relating to water and agriculture.
• Excellent communication skills and good presentation.
• Knowledge of basic IT tools to communicate with stakeholders.
• Having leadership qualities to manage public sector development projects and ability to manage a multi disciplinary team of professionals.
• Having analytical approach to design specialized project management to ensure the desired feedback at various stages of project implementation.
• Capable of providing a wide range of services relating to monitoring and evaluation of the project to ensure efficient and effective use of available recourses.
• Preference will be given to candidate having experience of implementing public sector development projects.

Job Description

• Assist Ministry in compilation of periodic Project monitoring reports, progress report, working paper for FSC and FCC.
• Any other duties assigned by the Ministry.
