Job summary

CCL Pharmaceuticals in Lahore seeks an experienced SAP technical lead to drive ABAP and SAP BTP delivery across SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, covering design, extensibility, integrations, testing, go-live and post-go-live support.

You will translate business requirements into scalable cloud-ready solutions, support governance and continuous improvement, and collaborate with functional consultants, integration teams, and business stakeholders to enable reliable digital operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline from an HEI.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on SAP technical experience in ABAP and/or SAP BTP, including implementation, rollout, hypercare, AMS, or post-go-live support.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA; S/4HANA Public Cloud experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud extensibility principles (clean core, limited extensibility, in-app and side-by-side).
• Strong knowledge of ABAP development, ABAP Cloud, CDS views, custom logic, enhancements, OData, SAP Fiori, RAP, CAP, APIs, destinations, and event-driven integration.

What you’ll do

In this role, you will lead SAP ABAP and SAP BTP technical delivery across SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud covering, technical design, clean-core extensibility, integrations, testing, deployment, go-live, and post-go-live support. You will translate business and functional requirements into scalable, cloud-compliant technical solutions using SAP-approved extensibility approaches, while supporting system integrations, technical governance, and continuous improvement to ensure reliable and sustainable digital operations.

• Designing scalable SAP solutions aligned with clean-core and cloud extensibility principles
• Translating functional and business requirements into technically feasible solutions
• Developing solutions across ABAP Cloud, SAP BTP, APIs, integrations, and extensibility
• Evaluating technical feasibility, integration impacts, and Public Cloud constraints
• Troubleshooting complex technical issues through structured root-cause analysis
• Applying strong development standards across documentation, testing, deployment, and support
• Managing technical delivery across implementation and post-go-live environments
• Collaborating effectively with functional consultants, integration teams, business stakeholders, and technology partners
• Managing multiple technical priorities within complex digital transformation environments

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline from an HEC recognized Institute.
• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on SAP technical experience in ABAP and/or SAP BTP, including implementation, rollout, hypercare, AMS, or post-go-live support.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA is required; experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud will be strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud extensibility principles, including clean core, limited extensibility, in‑app extensibility, and side‑by‑side extensibility.
• Strong technical knowledge of ABAP development, ABAP Cloud, CDS views, custom logic, enhancements, OData services, SAP Fiori technical objects, RAP, CAP, APIs, destinations, and event‑driven integration concepts.
• Experience in technical development, unit testing, technical documentation, transport management, defect resolution, cutover support, and post-go‑live support.
• Exposure to SAP BTP services and tools including SAP Integration Suite, Business Application Studio, SAP Build, Event Mesh, and Cloud ALM will be an advantage
• Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps practices, Git‑based development, and cloud transport management will be an advantage
• SAP certification in ABAP, SAP BTP, SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Integration Suite, or a related technical area will be preferred
