Job summary

LNH is seeking an experienced Security professional to support the Sr. Manager Security in safeguarding hospital premises, implementing policies, and coordinating security checks.

The role requires leadership, proven security operations experience in healthcare, and strong communication. You will train guards, manage rosters, and prepare periodic reports, ensuring 24/7 security coverage and continuous improvement of safety measures.

Qualifications

• Military or civilian security leadership experience preferred.
• 10 years in service if military (Captain rank) or 6-8 years with master’s degree and 3-4 years in supervision.
• Proficiency in MS Office required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sr. Manager Security in overseeing all aspects of the Security Department and enforcing policies.
• Secure premises by patrolling, monitoring surveillance, inspecting buildings and access points.
• Respond to emergencies to assist employees and patients.
• Report incidents and take remedial measures per institutional policies.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve security breaches and conflicts.
• Coordinate with public law enforcement, fire, and other agencies as needed.
• Plan and conduct training sessions for security guards.
• Conduct internal investigations as required.
• Monitor attendance and duty rosters to ensure 24/7 coverage.
• Prepare and submit periodical reports to Sr. Manager Security.
• Assist in hiring, evaluating performance, and training of security personnel.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Job description

• Assist Sr. Manager Security in overseeing all aspects of the Security Department, developing security measures, and ensuring implementation of relevant policies and procedures and security checks.
• Secure premises by patrolling, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points.
• Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and patients.
• Report incidents that may arise within the premises and take remedial measures as per the institutional policies and in coordination with Sr. Manager Security to prevent a recurrence.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve security breaches and conflicts.
• Coordinate security operations or activities with public law enforcement, fire, and other agencies, as and when required.
• Plan and conduct training sessions for the security guards.
• Conduct internal investigations as and when necessary.
• Monitor attendance and duty rosters of security guards and ensure optimal shift coverage round the clock.
• Prepare and submit periodical reports to Sr. Manager Security.
• Assist in hiring, evaluating performance, and training of security personnel.
• Perform any other task as assigned by Sr. Manager Security from time to time as per the need of the department.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Retired from Armed Forces at the rank of Captain or equivalent with 10 years in service or a civilian having a Master’s Degree with 6-8 years of relevant experience, out of which 3-4 years must be at supervisory or managerial level.
• Candidates having experience in managing security operations in healthcare setup shall be highly preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office application is mandatory.
