Job summary

METRO Pakistan (Pvt) Limited is seeking a Store Department Lead to manage stock ordering, supervision of Store Associates for merchandising, shelf management and cleanliness, and to drive sales targets.

The role involves night-time mechanization per DSO protocols and ensuring readiness before store openings, with strict adherence to planograms, SOPs and FIFO inventory controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Intermediate with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Report to FM and assist stock ordering; maintain optimal stock level in the department.
• Lead the team of Store Associates in mass merchandising, shelf management, stock management and cleanliness.
• Improve productivity and efficiency in department operations.
• Assist FM in achieving department sales targets.
• Mechanize the department at night per DSO protocols and ensure readiness before store opening.
• Ensure product presentation per Planogram and secondary displays per BMPL guidelines.
• Ensure SOP compliance and adherence to all policies.
• Maintain discipline in timekeeping and dress as per uniform guidelines.
• Conduct QA checks and track product expiries; apply FIFO during stock deliveries.

Job Description

• Reporting to FM and assist them in stock ordering and maintaining the optimum stock level in the department.
• Lead the team of Store Associates in the department for mass merchandising, shelf management, stock management and cleanliness of the department.
• Productivity Improvement – bringing in the efficiency.
• Assist FM in achieving sales targets of the department.
• Mechanizing of the Department over the night following DSO (Dark Store Operations) protocols and ensure readiness of the Department before the store opening.
• Responsible for presentation of products according to Planogram.
• Secondary displays as per the BMPL guidelines.
• Ensure all activities as per the SOPs, Compliance towards all protocols and policies.
• Discipline in time keeping and professional attire as per the uniform guidelines.
• QA Check – follow all the protocols / checklist defined to ensure the quality standards all the time, Keep the track record of expiries of product during & after stock deliveries – FIFO to maintain.

Qualifications

Bachelors or Intermediate with 6 years of experience.
