UBL is seeking a data engineer to own the analytics data, extract from core banking and the data warehouse, ensure numbers are accurate, and automate leadership reporting. You will write and optimize SQL, build ETL pipelines, and develop automated dashboards in Tableau or Power BI, working closely with IT and business teams to align data definitions and quality.

This role requires hands-on experience with large datasets and cross-system data integration, offering the chance to shape data

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience writing SQL against large datasets, including joins and window functions.
• Experience building ETL processes (e.g. SSIS, Informatica or scripted pipelines).
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI.

UBL is looking for a data engineer to own the data behind its analytics. You will extract data from core banking and the data warehouse, make sure the numbers are right, and automate the reporting that leadership relies on.

Job Responsibilities:

• Write and optimize SQL to extract data from core banking and the data warehouse.
• Build and maintain automated ETL pipelines and recurring reports, replacing manual work.
• Build the data foundations for Tableau / Power BI dashboards and build automated dashboards on them.
• Work closely with IT and business teams to understand data sources, definitions and quality issues.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of hands‑on experience writing SQL against large datasets (T-SQL, Oracle, Teradata or PostgreSQL), including joins across multiple tables and window functions.
• Experience building ETL processes (e.g. SSIS, Informatica or scripted pipelines)
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI.

Skills Required:

• Experience with banking data: core banking systems, MIS or regulatory reporting
• Python for automation and data processing
