Cybernet in Lahore is seeking an Electrical Engineer to manage power and cooling infrastructure for data centers, ensuring high availability, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. You will support the design and implementation of infrastructure solutions, coordinate with vendors, monitor critical systems with DCIM/NMS, and prepare reports and capacity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent (must).
• 3–5 years of telecom, datacom, or data center infrastructure experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical power systems, UPS, batteries, generators, HVAC.
• Hands-on experience with DCIM/NMS platforms.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the 24/7 operations of data centers, communication rooms, and critical power and cooling infrastructure.
• Ensure the availability and reliability of AC/DC power systems, generators, UPS, batteries, and cooling systems across POP sites.
• Design communication room layouts and support infrastructure planning for new projects.
• Develop and implement power and cooling solutions in coordination with internal teams and vendors.
• Manage vendor performance, ensuring compliance with SLAs, AMCs, and contractual obligations.
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Implement data center standards and industry best practices.
• Monitor infrastructure performance using DCIM and NMS.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and capacity planning recommendations.
