Job summary

Soum is seeking a Data & AI Product Manager to transform transaction data into a competitive edge. You will own pricing, fraud detection, and AI-powered inspection, with hands-on SQL and data-modeling expertise to guide production-ready solutions.

You will collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and commercial leaders to define metrics, evaluate ROI, and deliver scalable data products that drive GMV, margins, and customer trust.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in product management for data platforms or ML/AI products
• Advanced SQL and data modelling (dimensional/star schema)
• Familiar with modern data stacks (BigQuery/Snowflake/Redshift, dbt, Airflow, Kafka)
• Solid understanding of ML lifecycle, GenAI, and MLOps
• Strong commercial acumen; tie data/AI products to revenue or cost outcomes
• Experience shipping AI/ML/data products to production and measurable impact

Responsibilities

• Define and own the Data & AI product roadmap with commercial outcomes
• Lead pricing and valuation products for used items and cars
• Identify and ship AI/ML use cases across the business (ranking, fraud scoring, etc.)
• Own the data platform as a product with pipelines, models, and data contracts
• Stay hands-on with data: write SQL, review data models, ensure data quality
• Translate business problems into ML/ analytics problem statements and metrics
• Build business cases and ROI analyses for build vs buy decisions
• Drive adoption of data products across teams and leadership
• Monitor model performance, data quality, and business impact post-launch
• Ensure privacy and regulatory compliance with PDPL and guidance
