Job summary

KNK Foods (Pvt) Ltd in Lahore seeks a competent Quality Control Manager to direct central laboratories, ensuring 100% compliance with Punjab Food Authority regulations, Codex Alimentarius, and ISO 22000 standards.

The incumbent will test raw milk tankers for adulterants, test antibiotic residues and Aflatoxin M1, oversee in-process quality, approve packaging materials, and lead third-party regulatory audits. A M.Sc. in relevant fields with 7–10 years in a dairy plant is required.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. in Foods, Dairy Chemistry, Microbiology or Chemical Engineering from an HEC-recognized university.
• 7–10 years of experience in a commercial dairy plant responsible for QC/QA of products, raw materials, and packaging materials.
• Experience with analytical laboratory controls and regulatory compliance (Punjab Food Authority, Codex Alimentarius, ISO 22000).
• Selection includes an objective written examination evaluating dairy chemistry, microbiology testing techniques, food legislation, and laboratory analytics, followed by an interview.

Responsibilities

• Direct central analytical chemistry and microbiology laboratories to ensure 100% compliance with Punjab Food Authority regulations, Codex Alimentarius, and ISO 22000 standards.
• Test raw milk tankers for adulterants and residues and test antibiotic residues and Aflatoxin M1.
• Manage in-process quality scrutiny and conduct shelf-life incubation studies on UHT products.
• Approve packaging materials and lead third-party regulatory audits.
