Job summary

India Abroad is seeking an Information Security Analyst in Karachi, Pakistan to safeguard our data and systems from cyber threats. You will conduct security assessments, monitor networks, and respond to incidents to protect critical assets.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in CS/IT and 3+ years of experience, familiarity with HIPAA/PCI-DSS, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and security policies. You will work with teams to enforce standards and raise security awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of information security practices, tools and technologies.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc., industry compliances.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
• Develop and implement effective security policies, procedures and standards.
• Monitor networks for any suspicious activity and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
• Conduct penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems.
• Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies to ensure up-to-date defenses.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with security standards.
• Train employees on security best practices and raise awareness about potential threats.
