Job summary

SmartConnect Qatar is seeking a Crane Operator for Multan, Pakistan. The role involves operating and maintaining cranes on construction sites, with full-time commitment and a salary of 1,400 USD per month. On-the-job training will be provided, and accommodation is included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid crane operator license/certification.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, or technical manuals.
• Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination and depth perception.
• Strong communication skills in English (Urdu proficiency is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Operate different types of cranes such as mobile, tower, and overhead cranes according to safety regulations and manufacturer instructions.
• Inspect crane equipment before use to ensure proper functioning and report any malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Lift and move materials and equipment to designated locations using the crane controls.
• Follow signals from ground crew or other operators to ensure safe movement of materials.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate crane movements and complete tasks efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance on cranes and report any issues or repairs needed.
