Job summary

CoreHaul Logistics is seeking an experienced Crane Operator for a contract role in Karachi, Pakistan. You will operate mobile, tower, and overhead cranes, perform pre-op checks, read load charts, and coordinate lifts with the team to ensure safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of crane operating experience, a valid crane certification, reading English instructions, and the fitness to work at heights in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

Crane Operator (Contract) - Karachi, Pakistan

We are seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Karachi, Pakistan on a contract basis. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move, position, and place materials and equipment. This is a contract-based position with no accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:

• Operate different types of cranes including mobile cranes, tower cranes, and overhead cranes


• Read and interpret load charts and rigging plans to determine the appropriate crane setup for each job


• Perform daily pre-operational inspections on cranes to ensure safety and proper functioning


• Move levers, pedals, or switches to control crane movement and lift or lower loads


• Communicate with other team members using hand signals or two-way radios during lifts


• Follow all safety regulations and procedures while operating the crane


• Keep accurate records of lifts and maintenance performed on the crane


• Report any incidents or malfunctions immediately to the supervisor

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Crane Operator in a construction or industrial setting


• Valid crane operator certification from a recognized institution


• Knowledge of different types of cranes and their capabilities


• Understanding of load charts and rigging plans


• Ability to read and understand instructions in English


• Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination

The salary for this position is $1000 per month.
