Job summary

SkyCrew in Karachi is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to operate various cranes, lift and position heavy materials, and coordinate with ground crew to ensure safe site operations.

You will inspect equipment, read blueprints, monitor loads, maintain daily records, and perform routine maintenance. A high school diploma and a valid crane certification are required, with at least two years on construction sites and a safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid crane operator certification/license from a recognized training program.
• Minimum of 2 years experience operating cranes on construction sites.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately.
• Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination and depth perception.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to crane operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes according to safety regulations and procedures.
• Inspect equipment before each use to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Use hand signals and radio communication to coordinate movements with ground crew.
• Lift move and position materials and equipment with precision and care.
• Monitor load weight and adjust crane as necessary for safe operation.
• Keep accurate records of daily activities including hours worked and materials lifted.
• Perform routine maintenance on crane equipment as needed.
