Job summary

Gumcorp Pvt. Ltd in Pakistan seeks an Inventory & Costing Analyst to maintain accurate inventory records, perform costing analysis, and ensure proper valuation per policies and standards.

Key duties include preparing cost sheets, supporting month-end closing, and coordinating with Finance, Procurement, and Production to ensure precise costing records and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
• CMA - Part Qualified.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and costing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile inventory records, including stock receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments.
• Prepare product cost sheets and analyze material costs, production costs, and cost variances.
• Ensure accurate inventory valuation and reconciliation with the general ledger.
• Conduct physical stock counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare inventory reports, costing statements, and variance analysis for management.
• Assist in month-end closing, audits, and implementation of inventory control procedures.
• Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, Warehouse, and Production departments to ensure accurate inventory and costing records.
