Job summary

HR Ways in Lahore is seeking a Cost Engineer (Lahore - Night Shift) to support automotive industry clients with cost estimation, data analysis, and Excel-based reporting. The role focuses on maintaining customer portal data, building MCBS forms, and collaborating with engineering and project teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 0–1 year experience, with advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH) and strong English communication for cross-functional work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• 0 to 1 years of experience in engineering, data management, or finance.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, data comparison, and macros).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for cost forecasting and control.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the customer portal data related to quotes.
• Create and maintain Material Content Breakdown Forms (MCBFs).
• Perform cost analysis and Excel-based reporting.
• Develop cost estimates and monitor budget variances.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and project management teams.
