LIPTON Teas and Infusions is seeking a Contract Manufacturing Lead in Karachi Head Office to manage a portfolio of contract manufacturing sites, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and cost controls are met. As a Contract Manufacturing Lead reporting to the CM Lead Global, your primary responsibility will be to manage a specific set of Contract Manufacturing sites within the broader landscape overseen by the senior role. This is an important position, in that it plays a crucial role in supporting the overall success of contract manufacturing operations.
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Engineering degree or procurement experience is a plus. Knowledge of Tea category or prior experience in working in a Tea organization would be a plus.
Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to comprehend and address technical aspects related to manufacturing processes, as well as a good business acumen.
Attributes: Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
4-6 years of experience in various functions of supply chain operations.
Familiarity with contract manufacturing processes or managing a site/manufacturing facility.
Prior experience in Tea is an advantage.
Willingness to learn and adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Ability to engage and manage a wide range of stakeholders across the regions.
Have a transformation mindset and ability to question status quo.
