Indus Hospital in Karachi is seeking a dedicated nurse to hand over and take over shift information, provide direct patient care, and ensure adherence to therapeutic standards. The role involves coordinating with doctors and the multidisciplinary team to maintain high-quality care and accurate documentation.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant experience, a Diploma in Nursing or BScN with a valid PNC, and will be committed to infection control and patient safety

Qualificações

• Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
• Qualification in nursing: Diploma in Nursing or BScN with valid PNC registration.
• Willingness to perform shift-based patient care duties.

Responsabilidades

• Hand over and take over shift information for patients, including introductions and charts.
• Provide direct patient care during the shift in a calm, courteous manner.
• Ensure quality of care by adhering to standards and adjusting as needed.
• Resolve patient problems using a multidisciplinary approach.
• Prepare medication requisitions and administer medications.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment according to procedures.
• Protect patients by following infection-control policies and medication handling rules.
• Assist doctors during rounds and procedures, preparing patients and equipment.
• Document nursing care accurately per SOPs and SOP charting.
