Job summary

Ziauddinhospital is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to provide patient care, support families, and collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to promote health.

The role involves hands-on patient assessment, monitoring vital signs, documenting care, coordinating with the healthcare team, and contributing to a learning environment for students and junior staff in training. The position requires maintaining hygienic practices and staying updated through workshops.

Responsibilities

• Handing and taking over of the patients, check patients file, medication, and investigation of the patient.
• Assess the patient’s condition and response to the treatment.
• Monitor patient’s progress and notify changes to the physician.
• Document medical information, events, check vital signs and Mark on patient file.
• Contribute to the learning environment conducive for nursing students and other junior staff & technician in training
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, sessions and recertification
• Provide safe, timely, and quality care to the patients.
• Identify the patient’s need/ problem and plan for nursing care.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Assist in the recording of appropriate patients/staff, ward statistical data as directed by the Manager Nursing.
• Checking the stock on a regular basis for maintaining the inventory level, and inform Ward in-Charge
• Maintaining hygienic and safe working environment in compliance with the healthcare procedures.
• Resolving patients’ problems and fulfilling their requirements by applying multifaceted team strategy
• Educating patients’ families about the disease and its treatment.
