The Army Public School and College (Iqra) Hyderabad invites applications for a College Librarian. The role focuses on efficient library operations, cataloging, and user support for students and staff. A Master’s in Library Science and 2–3 years of experience in an academic setting are required.

The Librarian will manage Koha ILS, oversee collections, book circulation, and organize reading clubs and book fairs, while ensuring compliance with library standards and procedures at APSACS.

Formación

• MLIS/BS-LIS 16 years from an HEC-recognized university.
• 2–3 years professional library management experience in an academic college or higher secondary institution.

Responsabilidades

• Direct college library operations and stacks maintenance.
• Catalog and classify collections using DDC.
• Operate Koha Integrated Library System; manage student book circulation.
• Conduct annual stock verification.
• Guide students and faculty in literature searches and citation styles.
• Organize reading clubs and book fairs.
