Workato is hiring a Librarian Assistant in Karachi, Pakistan to support daily library operations including circulation, cataloging, and administrative tasks. You will assist with shelving, displays, and customer inquiries while contributing to program planning and events for patrons of all ages.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Library Science, strong organizational and computer skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with book circulation by checking books in and out, issuing library cards, and collecting fines.
• Shelve books and maintain organization of the library.
• Catalog new books and materials using the library's online system.
• Help manage the collection by creating displays, recommending purchases, and weeding outdated materials.
• Provide customer service to patrons and answer questions about programs and services.
• Support programming by helping plan events and workshops for all ages.
• Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phones, emails, and inventory.
