Job summary

Niftonic Solutions Rawalpindi is seeking a Backend Developer to design and implement scalable, secure server-side logic and APIs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to power robust applications and services.

Responsibilities include building backend services, integrating PostgreSQL, deploying on AWS, and ensuring secure, fault-tolerant systems. You will work with frontend developers, PMs, and DevOps while write clean, testable code.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in backend development.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL databases.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
• Solid understanding of server-side architecture and cloud deployment best practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices.
• Integrate and optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance and scalability.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain infrastructure on AWS.
• Ensure backend systems are secure, scalable, and fault-tolerant.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps teams.
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues and performance bottlenecks.
