Job summary

Indus Hospital in Karachi invites applications for a Technologist/Staff Technologist – Microbiology in the Clinical Laboratories. The role requires 2–5 years of relevant experience and a BS in Medical Laboratory Technology, with rotational shifts across morning, evening, and night.

The candidate will perform routine and advanced microbiology testing, ensure QC/QA, manage media and reagents, and support audits while coordinating with biomedical/vendor teams as needed.

• Job Shift: Rotational Shifts (Morning/Evening/Night)

Responsibilities

• Perform routine/advanced microbiological testing per SOPs.
• Handle media, reagents and systems such as VITEK 2, API, E-strips, MIC.
• Conduct daily QC/EQA and report abnormal findings to clinicians.
• Support audits and maintain documentation.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate with vendors.
