Job summary

A financial services firm in Lahore seeks an experienced bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting tasks. Responsibilities include bookkeeping, financial reporting, and client communication. The ideal candidate should be ACCA part-qualified with at least 2 years of relevant experience, proficient in QuickBooks Online and Xero. This is an on-site role with competitive salary.

Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely posting.
  • Prepare and maintain general ledgers, trial balances, and assist in month-end closing activities.
  • Support in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Communicate with Canadian clients to obtain missing information and clarify accounting details.
  • Use QuickBooks Online, Xero, or other accounting software to maintain accurate financial data.
  • Assist senior accountants with filing, documentation, and audit support when required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and client-specific accounting procedures.
Requirements
  • ACCA Part Qualified or pursuing ACCA (Minimum 8 papers cleared).
  • 2 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, preferably with international or Canadian clients.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Xero, or other cloud-based accounting platforms.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and client coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting tools.
  • Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Location: On-site only – The Enterprise Building, 3 km off Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore, Pakistan

Salary: Market competitive

Timings: 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM
