Job summary

Farbstoffe Intl is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to manage plant infrastructure, from RCC foundations to roads and drainage, across the full project lifecycle.

You will prepare BOQs, cost estimates, drawings, and tender documents, while supervising contractors and ensuring quality and safety on site. A DAE in Civil and 4–5 years on industrial sites are preferred.

Qualifications

• DAE Civil required.
• 4–5 years of civil engineering experience, industrial site preferred.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera and STAAD Pro.

Responsibilities

• Design, supervise and maintain plant infrastructure including buildings, roads, drains, boundary wall and admin block.
• Prepare BOQs, drawings, cost estimates and tender documents for civil works.
• Supervise contractors, ensure quality, arrange material testing and enforce site safety.
• Prepare and update as-built drawings and drainage drawings in AutoCAD.
• Maintain ISO, HSE and government inspection records.
• Prepare weekly progress, breakdown, and maintenance reports.

Job description

We are looking for a Civil Engineer to take charge of plant infrastructure — from RCC foundations for tanks and reactors to roads, drainage, buildings and site development. The role runs the full cycle: BOQs and cost estimates, contractor supervision, quality and material checks, then the records that ISO, HSE and government inspections ask for. Experience with industrial rather than purely residential construction will serve you well here.

Responsibilities:

• Plant Infrastructure: Design, supervise and maintain buildings, roads, drains, boundary wall, admin block, canteen and mosque
• Industrial Structures: Handle RCC foundations for tanks, reactors, pumps, pipe racks, ETP and cooling towers
• Site Development: Manage levelling, paving, storm water drainage, landscaping and warehouse flooring
• Maintenance: Carry out civil repairs — cracks, leakages, flooring, roof waterproofing and painting
• New Projects: Prepare BOQs, drawings, cost estimates and tender documents for new civil works
• Contractor Management: Supervise contractors, check work quality, arrange material testing and enforce site safety
• Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers for cement, steel, tiles and waterproofing chemicals
• Budgeting: Prepare the CAPEX and OPEX budget for civil maintenance and projects
• Approvals: Liaise with government departments for building plan approval, NOC and fire NOC
• Drawings: Prepare and update as-built drawings, layout plans and drainage drawings in AutoCAD
• Audits: Maintain records for ISO, HSE and government inspections
• Reports: Produce the weekly progress report, breakdown report and maintenance log

Requirements:

• DAE Civil
• 4 to 5 years of civil engineering experience, preferably on an industrial site
• AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera and STAAD Pro
• Concrete mix design and soil testing
• Knowledge of industrial construction codes, chemical-resistant materials, waterproofing and structural design
