Job summary

hrsi is seeking a skilled Videographer & Video Editor to capture and produce high-quality video content that tells our institution's story. The role blends creativity with technical expertise for social media, events, promotions, and communications.

The candidate will plan, shoot, and edit video material, handle campus events, and collaborate with the creative team to deliver engaging content across platforms, including reels and longer documentaries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film Production, Media Arts, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in videography and video editing
• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
• Solid understanding of cinematography, lighting techniques, and audio production
• Experience with motion graphics using Adobe After Effects
• Strong portfolio of video work across different styles and formats
• Ability to work on-site at events, including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and edit professional video content for various platforms including social media, YouTube, and institutional website
• Film campus events, student activities, faculty features, and institutional milestones
• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos with graphics, music, captions, and effects
• Operate and maintain video production equipment including cameras, lighting, and audio gear
• Collaborate with the content and graphics team to align video with overall creative strategy
• Manage a video content calendar and ensure timely delivery of all video projects
• Create reels, short-form videos, and long-form documentaries as required
• Archive and organize all video assets in an accessible file management system
